Terms and Conditions

I understand that Manor Cleaners and/or their Sub-Contractors will be responsible for cleaning my household items with the exception of the following: (1) Sun fading; (2) Color loss that may be due to Non-Fast dyes of colors that will not withstand the cleaning process and/or solvents used; (3) holes or tears due to the degradation of the fabric while hanging or wear and tear; (4) Shrinkage due to improper-pre-shrinkage by the fabric manufacturer; and (5) Stains that may not be removable.

Suede and leather garments, made of animal skins, sometimes have inherent defects that may not be apparent before cleaning. In addition to the effects of normal wear, there are other conditions you should be aware of. Some skins may have weak or thin areas that can chafe during processing. Prior to exposure to heat, moisture can make skins tender, stiff or brittle. Fading may not be totally corrected by dyeing. Some stains may not be removable. Color uniformity may not be assured if skins were not originally matched evenly. Heavily soiled linings may not clean satisfactorily. In addition, if skins were over-stretched in making the garment, they may (probably) shrink during cleaning.

Manor Cleaners and its Sub-Contractors will apply their best efforts in rendering their services within the time schedule indicated when the service order is made or the garments are delivered. However, Manor Cleaners and its Sub-Contractors shall be excused for delays that may occur as a result of, but not limited to the following: (1) Machinery breakages at the Manor Cleaners or Sub-Contractor cleaning centers; (2) Inclement weather; (3) Delivery vehicle breakdowns or accidents; (4) Other events outside their direct control.

Manor Cleaners or its Sub-Contractors are not responsible for garments or other articles not claimed within 30 days. Unclaimed garments or other articles will be handled in accordance with State regulations.

Manor Cleaners and its Sub-Contractors exercise utmost care in processing garments and articles entrusted to them and use such processes that, in their expert opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual garment or article. Nevertheless, Manor Cleaners and its Sub-Contractors cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses of or defects in materials that may not be readily apparent prior to processing. This applies in particular, but not exclusively, to Swedes, leather, silks, satins, double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethane, and other process-sensitive materials. Responsibility is also disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, bells and sequins.

In laundering and dry cleaning, Manor Cleaners and its Sub-Contractors cannot guarantee against color loss, shrinkage, or damage to weak and tender fabrics. Differences in count shall be reported within 48 hours with the receipt ticket presented at the store or claim with full description made through our website.

Unless a list accompanied the bundle, our count must be accepted. If a list accompanies the bundle, the customer will be notified of any count differences before processing. The count differences may delay the processing.

Manor Cleaners' liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 10 times Manor Cleaners' charge for processing it.

For home deliveries, Manor Cleaners or its Sub-Contractors will note the delivery date and time, of the cleaned garments or other articles, in the location specified by the customer. Manor Cleaners or its Sub-Contractors shall not be responsible for any theft that may occur at the delivery location. The security of the delivery location is entirely the customer’s responsibility.

Manor Cleaners and its Sub-Contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages that may occur as a result of their services.
